Hi,

I can't seem to create a new bin. When I try to, it says "bin is already open in 'unknown' ", as if it was already open on another computer of my company's network, which doesn't make sense since I just created the bin. 

It does work for other projects though, and also when I go into the directory and create a bin by duplicating an existing bin and renaming it. 

Any thoughts?

hmm, I know something similar, Avid writes to disk on another machine on the network,
but the project, bin, or folder doesn't show.
Opening and closing project should solve this, or, I'd assume, pressing refresh in Bin view in v2020 onwards.

I'll sometimes create projects on local machine, move them to shared folder on the network later.

For some reason the foreign filesystem seems too slow to report sucsessful write or report the permissions of the files correctly and in a timely fashion.
