What is the fastest way to change the volume of audio in AVID? I just watched a tutorial, they went to Tools - Audio Mixer and then adujsted it. But it's a very big window and I don't think I want the window up all the time, cus it takes a lot of space. Is there any way to do it faster?
For example in Premiere Pro you can just click 'G' while having the audio selected and you can put the gain / volume you want.
Operating System: Windows 10
Processor: Intel (R) Core(TM) i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90 GHz 2.90 GHz
RAM: 16 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
Depends a bit on whether you would like to set clip gain or volume automation. Both can be set/modified in the Audio Mixer, but you can also set/change clip gain directly in the timeline: click the hamburger menu (bottom left of the timeline) and choose 'Audio Data' and select 'Clip Gain'. You will now see a tiny fader at the head of each timeline segment, and when you click it, you can set the level right there.
Thanks!
ALT + SHIFT + UP/DOWN (on Mac) will turn the volume up or down by 1dB, without having to actually click on the little fader. (The track selector for that audio track must be active).
Thank you
