Hello,
I'm running Avid Media Composer 2018.12.8 on Mac OS X 10.14.6 on a late-2013 Mac Pro.
I've been running this configuration for a year and a half, intentionally not updating either Media Composer or the OS to ensure stablity.
Recently, however, Media Composer suddenly stopped offering any ProRes formats for export. I can still export Same as Source (takes much longer!) or h.264 or various other compression schemes.
Media Creation settings still offer ProRes encoding.
I'm not sure what caused this, possibilty allowing FCP X and Compressor to update on the same machine. How do I fix this issue?

The ProRes codecs are installed/updated seperatly from apps like FCPX. My guess is the codecs are newer than your version of Media Composer, updating to 2018.12.12 might fix that.
