Is Avid Titler totally buggy in UHD?

Having an absolute nightmare trying to do one caption in UHD! The width percentage keeps changing of its own accord (like I had hidden keyframes) and when i render its blank! Its just doing really random inconsistent things including dissapearing!Has even bombed my very solid Avid out 3 times in 15 mins.  Arghhh!

    Tell me its not me!

Symphony 2018.12.10, Blackmagic Intensity Pro 11.1 (unsatisfactory in full res UHD though for client monitor), WIN 10 on 2500Mbps M.2 SSD, Nvidia Quadro K4200, Asus X99-A Mobo, i7 5820K 4.0 GHz Hex core mildly overclocked CPU, 32Gb 2800 Mhz RAM, WD Black 8Tb RAID10 array @ 450Mbs

I see on your other post you've bailed for Photoshop. That's what I was going to suggest.

Re: Is Avid Titler totally buggy in UHD?

We have been working with a newly formed Media Composer Titler+ Beta Team to review all the high-priority items posted on community and Facebook to ensure we have a clear understanding of the pain points. The MC Titler+ Beta Team is a closed group of customers and unfortunately we cannot add any new members, however we encourage folks to post to the MC Titer+ forum with any added features and functionality you feel we should be made aware of.

Currently, we are working on updating the selection model so it’s easier to select and move text without changing it in ways you weren’t intending, adding text highlights for clearly defining what you’ve selected, adding new short-cut keys for common actions (like Grouping, Bold, Italic, Justification, etc.), updates to scaling so you can scale the text without changing the aspect ratio, and improving Rolls and Crawls with a new scroller.  While we will soon release a new version of Media Composer, it will have only minor fixes as the team wasn’t formed until last month and the updates previously mentioned are still in progress.  We expect to provide more news to the community mid-October and every month as we go through this improvement process.
