I am trying to deactivate my avid in Avid Link and it is now stuck on syncing. My avid is now deactivated and I cannot reactivate. Any suggestions?
I am running Avid Link version 20.6.0 and avid version 2018.12.6 on a 2017 imac running on High Sierra.
Hi Sierra,
Try to log out and log back in and activate.
Thanks,
Kimm

Was there ever a solution to this Marianna? I deactivated my account a few days ago so I could use my laptop on the road and now it just stays on syncing in avid link on both computers
I am having the exact same issue. Please help! I'm unable to activate any versions and, therefore, I'm unable to work.
Hi Footbaggin,
Try this:
Stop in Activity Monitor: AvidlinkManager and AvidAppManHelper, then go to the Avid Link preferences tab and clear cache files.

Sorry, just noticed this was the wrong forum, though I'm having the same issue on Win 10.
Hi,
1. Stop the following Processes in Task Manager:• AvidLink.exe• AvidAppManHelper.exe
Restart machine and try to log in to AvidLink.
I'm having the same issue. I've attemted to stop processes
I'm also having this issues.
I've followed these steps but no luck so far.
Try reintalling AvidLink, and be sure you allow the apps in your firewall settings. I suggest checking the troubleshooting steps provided in this FAQ.
