MC 2018.12.10 - Timelapse imported, black screen

Hi all, I'm working from home, remoting into the office. Both Avids are 2018.12.10. Has anyone seen this issue? I imported timelapse jpgs on the work computer. Everything was fine. I brought the media to my house on a drive. Everything still fine. The next day on my work computer, the timelapse clips were online but they are black in the Source monitor. All of them. Can't see them but they're not offline; just a black source monitor. At my home they are fine, but at work, no. I looked for the master clips in Media Tool and they were there but also just a black screen. When I select all the clips and push delete, it says "Delete selected master clips" but there's no option for "Deleting associated media", which is weird.  We upgraded our Nexis, in case this was the issue but it didn't fix it. I ended up just re-importing all the timelapses.

Is 'Render on the Fly' turned on?

How do you check that? Not sure how that would matter though, since they're timelapses. There are no effects on them. They're just master clips.

    Rawb24:

On 2018.x it's under the Special menu (I think).

I'm not sure either, but it sounds like the symptoms of a 'RotF' issue, so I thought it would be worth checking.
