I'm using the Audio Punch-In tool and it seems to be working well. However, yesterday, when I used the 'V' key to play the audio recorded in the timeline, it would delete it after playing it. Today, I'm doing exactly the same thing again, except for a machine reboot, and this time I get the following message every time I try playing the recorded audio (also, the audio isn't deleted this time):
19.12.1.53716
* Exception: UNDO_NOTHING_LEFT
Exception:
@ Tue Jun 9 14:58:23 2020
The above is from the console but the message appears in a message box. I'm using MC 2019.12.1 on W7 Pro. Any ideas as to what's happening here? The recording key 'B' works fine.The hardware used for capture: AT875R -> MixPre (Tape Out) -> Matrox Mini (Left channel input)
Thanks!

Well, that exception seems to have gone away - no idea why. The audio does get recorded - it's there in the bin. However, if I use the play control in the Audio Punch-In tool, the recorded audio disappears from the timeline but if I play it from the timeline itself, it stays on the track it was recorded on.
