Should be I bought the software and it should work 101
Too much of a regular occurence having licensing issuesd. I need to work across multiple machines and activate/deactivate has not been solid, it's 2020! I have a support case open and they reset the seat count, I deleted some files, used old AppMan to license, great worked for a couple of days then boom, not active and I'm locked out.
Merely trying to finish a project and I don't want to start the next one in Avid if I can not guarantee that I'll be able to open Avid every day for the next 2 months.
Didn't want to moan but it's effecting deadlines and obviously with the current global situation support is busy, unfortunately that doesn't change the fact I have to deliver :(
I do love Avid btw, but such a simple issue should never happen.
Hi Dave,
Email me the MC systems ID so I can check.

Thank you for your help, this is one of the many strengths of Avid...their support
Hello Ralph I am having the exact same issue my license is up to date but I keep getting the : Activation Failed: 101 Activation Failed. Seat Count Failed on System ID. Trying to install on my new computer and not sure why this is happening.

Ralph is off for a couple of days. You should contact Avid Support.

Select Broadcast & Video, then on the next page click the + next to Contact Support and call the number listed for your area. Help with activation issues is free, and it's option 2 from the phone menu.
If you don't get anywhere with them, send an email to Marianna Montague (marianna.montague@avid.com). She is Avid's customer advocate, and can help you.
