Export issue, file dwnld to hard drive but won't to external devices

Avid folks.  I finally found a setting to export my completed file.  It exported h264 1280x720... looks great.

Now I'd like to give this file to the client.  I used a 32gig USB stick... after first trying to copy the file ( 6 gig )  to a USB stick ( 32gig ) it wouldn't copy,  stating the file was too big.  Then I tried to re-download from avid to export directly to the stick,  many hours later,  it reads file too large,  adjust the general settings...I tried this a couple different ways,  nothing worked...

Any ideas? I have the file on my hard drive, & desk top, but need to give it to the client.  It is saved as a MOV.  H264 file.

Check the format of your USB stick FAT32 has a 2gb file limit.

reformat the USB stick to a more modern file format suitable for your client

Thank you. I did and I did have it formatted to fat32, I did not see a limit. Nontheless, I tried a fast memory card I had ( sd ) and it copied over in seconds! I never knew that a usb stick, the kind I bought would not copy a large file, I figured they were slow but had no idea they would just not copy it! Big thanks!!

And exporting h264 from avid is about the slowest and lowest quality way to make an mp4.

try exporting DNxHD 115/120 and encoding in say handbrake.
