Hi all
I've just bought the following iMac with the listed spec, which ships with the Catalina OS.
As far as I can work out, I should be downloading the Avid MC 2020 version? Anyone disagree?
cheers
Mark
The only version that currently supports Catalina is the 2020.2 BETA release, correct.
It has some important limitations with importing/exporting as stated in the release notes, but it mostly works as expected from my experience.
cheers JD!

Since this iMac was introduced before Catalina (me thinks), can't you just downgrade it to Mojave?
(oh we all joined on the same date!)
There is no "revert" option. You'll have to wipe it out and reinstall Mojave from scratch.

I did a clean install of Mojave on a new 27" iMac and I'm very happy with it.

Which is probably fine if the iMac is brand new out of the box with no software installed. You'll probably need to make a USB installer (stick or drive) to be able to wipe the drive first, otherwise the installer will complain about a newer system on the destination.
