There is an annoying bug in the title tool which I am sure was not present in earlier versions (I am using MC 18.9.0). I go to modify an existing title by opening it with the "alt" key depressed, making the change, and then selecting "save." You would expect this action to overwrite the original. Instead MC performs a "save as" function and puts the new version in the bin with a 01 suffix. The original remains. This is not a big problem in the scheme of things, but it means that if you want to keep things well organised you then have to delete the original, and rename the modified version, delating the 01 suffix. If I'd wanted to "save as" I would have done that. Avid, can you fix this?

I'm fairly sure that's the way it has always worked.
I have a fantastic editing assistant. He stays by my side when I edit...doesn't talk too much...and thinks I'm a genius! Check him out here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQVkYaaPO6g
It's certainly worked that way in recent years. In the early 90s it may have been different but I'm not certain enough of that to say.
