It seems AVID's favourite trick is to pretend it's not activated, when it is.

I've been through this at least six times before with AVID. Application Manager says Media Composer is activated, but AVID itself won't go past the 'Electronic Activation or Hardware Key" screen. Any time I click continue, it opens Application Manager, where it says the product is activated...

In the past I've just exited AvidApplicationManager.exe & AvidAppManHelper.exe in task manager, deleted:

C:\ProgramData\Avid\AppManager\Cache

C:\ProgramData\Avid\AppManager\Db

C:\ProgramData\Avid\Licenses

C:\ProgramData\Avid\Common

C:\ProgramData\Avid\SWL

and that's solved the issue.

Not this time though, that doesn't seem to be working. I've even done a fresh install of AVID, and I still can't get it to open.

Can anyone assist with this (again)?

Are you in a subscription license and using MC lower than 2018.9 version?

EDIT: Just to update that AVID arranged a remote session with me and sorted out the licencing issue :)
