Font on timeline has changed. My only explanation is that it is the same narrow font I'm using in Avid title Tool in this project. It has made text almost unreadable in the timeline. Before I added a title the timeline font was normal. How do I change back to the default timeline font?
Mark.
Hi,
Click on the timeline window to make it active, then go to Windows > Set Font

Thanks, that did the trick. earlier searches turned up Edit > Set font. Hadn't realised this function had moved to Windows.
Strange that the font changed without me setting it differently!
I just had the same thing happen to me. I was working with a photoshop graphic and my text in timeline chnaged all of sudden. This probably a bug. I also encloseed a picture.
I've seen this, too. Anyone else?

I had the same problem. Don't worry, it will fix itself, but I don't know it yet.
Try this, Make the panel that the text changed active, then go to windows>set font> and change the font to Arial Black
Hope this helps,
Denny
It helps but I've had it revert to an absurdly inledgible Broadwayesque font a couple times now.
Setting timeline to defealt settings fixes that.
I have weird fonts in my source/record windows that make the selected sequences unreadable. Havent found a fix for that yet. Probably trash user settings...
Had the same problem with fonts in timeline but what I'm really missing in MC 2019 is black text on grey which I fnd much easier to read. Has anyone managed to find a black font? Arial Black and Segoe UI Black both come up as white btw.
You're welcome! I'm glad it was an easy fix!
