How to save a site setting in 2019.6?

Since Avid has now moved all the project window settings to various relevant settings lists how does one now save a site setting?  For instance I want to save my Media Creation settings as a site setting so that the are always the default on this system.  It used to be that you'd just drag them to the site settings window but no more.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

The Site Settings tool is found near bottom of MC's Windows Menu. You can then Save and Save a Copy of the Site Settings to an .xml file. Highlight the Site Settings Tool and then look near top of MC File Menu.

Did you solve your other Workspaces "re-setting themselves" issue?

Awesome!  Thanks a lot!  You can also just drag your setting straight to that window just like you used to be able to.  Since they moved it i didn't relize it was still available under a menu.  Thanks again!

you're Welcome. Did you solve your "resetting" workspace issue? I had wanted to suggest you can use Site Settings to "park" your customized workspaces.

I contacted Avid support and their suggestion to move the MCState, Site_Attributes and Site_Settings files to another location (eg. a new folder on the desktop).   I did that and haven't had any issues since.  However this was something that happened every few days to a week so we'll see.

Your idea to park them in the site settings is genius.  I'll do that.

I've since realized that my workspaces reset every time Avid updates the software.  So I completely resdesign every workspace every time, which is a huge waste of time of course.  This is over 6 months since they released this software and they haven't sorted this out.  I've been happily using workspaces (mapped to keyboard) since approx 2004 or 5 maybe.  Everything was completely fine.  Why did Avid have to screw everything up?  What is actually better in the UI?  And who cares if it's prettier?  Guys, go and look at Premiere Pro or Resolve.  BLOODY MILES BETTER if you'll just learn it.  I don't use Avid any more.  After over 23 years of heavy use.  Avid is history.

As all Avid MC users are forced to do. It's a pain...

But what I really do not understand after so many years is that Avid can't, or doesn't want to, create an (automatic) user settings migration tool. That some settings can't be migrated automatically from any to any version, backwards and forwards, needing manual intervention is fine. But that there is no better option than to just leaving the old settings regardless of the update path, resulting in your new version going berserk 50-80% of the time... You would almost believe this is done to keep the support guys and girls and this forum busy.
