Dear
I'm having trouble playing back clips on Avid MC First.
When a clip is loaded into the player window, and the image of clip is displayed, clicking the PLAY button appears to appear a new window in the playback area, and the clip video is not displayed, just its audio.
When you click on the BIN of clips, or another window, on the other monitor, the image of the clip reappears on the monitor of the player, but when you click the PLAY button, the same thing happens. (i7-LGA2011 / 4-cores / 32GB / GTX970 / Dual Monitor / Win 10 Home)
On another machine (i5-LGA1151 / 16GB / GTX570 / Single Monitor / Win 10 Home), the application starts to run, but stops on the screen below.

Could anyone help?
Thankful.
Mauricio
Hi Mauricio,
First of all Windows Home edition is not qualified OS as well as i5 CPU. For the i7 LGA2011 (I'm still checking with hardware guys if this will work) but I recommend you upgrade the GPU driver, also try other media to see the playback result.
Thanks,
RalphC
Hi, RalphC.
Thanks for your answer.
Strange that Media Composer ran perfectly on i7, but I understand that Home is not recommended.
The GTX970 drivers are up to date.
I uninstalled and reinstalled MC First, and the same problem persisted.
The problem with i7 happens with all video clips. These clips are 1920x1080 MP4.
Regards,
Mauricio.
