Same here.
Plus doublecklicking on a clip in a Bin in frame-view won't switch the keyboard input automatically to the source window, meaning when you hit space immediately after doubleclicking a clip in a bin MC will play the clip in the bin instead of playing it in the source monitor.
Yes. Tried to remap...also started new prefs. Neither changed the problem. Still stopping when I hit the in/out marker on the keyboard. Thanks for the suggestion. Hopefully this can be rectified...It really slows down the process!.
Clay ... got a case going.

Ben as you know by now I have a case going for this
Hello Clay,
Did you try creating a new project and testing mark in and mark out to see if the playback in the source monitor continues.
Thanks,
Leo
Yes. Same issue. Still stops when I mark and in/out point while playing.
Clay....
is it only when in the source monitor?
No. It's in both the source and record monitors.
Are your bins in script view? (See Ben Kaiser's post on page #1) I can reproduce it when the source bin of the clip or sequence is in script view AND if that bin is the last one active. (Pressing 'in' or 'out' in this state sometimes not only stops playback but even crashes the system!!) It does not happen when I leave the particular bin in script view and switch to another bin that is not in script view.
this literally just started happening to me randomly today. Only in the source window. Everything was fine and now its not.

Hi Marianna--
I'm having the same problem. Please let me know when there is a fix.
Thank you!
Hello Steve,
I believe it's fixed in Media Composer 2019.8 just released yesterday. I've downloded but will test this morning as it mentions this bug has been fixed in the read me on the 2019.8 download file pdf.
Fixed with update: 2019.8. Thank You!
