Hello everyone,
I just downloaded the new version of MC. It works perfectly but i have a huge problem, i can't display my timeline or the source material in the monitors, I see only black. If i play both the run correctly, i can hear the music and Sfx but i can't display the video. Any Suggestions?? Thanks!
By monitors do you mean your computer displays? Or your external client monitor that is receiving your video signal?

I mean my source and my timeline window both. I can display the MC interface and everything. I just can't see what i play in both monitors.
Is render on the fly on? It's under the Composer menu.

Are you on a Mac?
How many monitors do you have attached.
Can you rearrange the displays in the Mac System Preferences, so that the 2nd or 3rd screen doesn't become the #1 display as Avid sees it. So just place off of the bottom right corner of your center display. This way Avid sees it as #3 in the available displays. Then it automatically placed the "host" panel into the left UI screen.
Try that

Hello Marianna, thanks for help
Yes, I'm on a Mac, MacBook Air late 2015. I'm not using external monitors, just the system one.
Did you find solution andrea ? i've the same issue..
Thanks
Yeah, I'm not so sure about it. I have read the minimum requirements for the new version avid. You must have atleast 16GB of Ram, the previous version allowed you to have even 8 GB. It sounds weird, I know, because it play perfectly and it doesn't have crash or something like that, but it's the only reason I think.
I have imac end 2014 with 16go of Ram, intel core i7 4ghz and AMD Radeon R9 (2screen).. And I have this issue also with my macbook pro end 2015 (16go Ram) (1 screen) and didn't find solution since yesterday... No problem with 2018 version
Mmm..that's weird. Well, it's not a Ram issue then...let's hope someone will gonna answer and solve this problem. I didn't have any kind of problem on the 2018 version too. Fluent and fast.
On it folks....
Will get support to check this for you both.
stand by
Do you guys have anything docked to the composer window? If so undock it and float the composer window and then dock it back.
