Hi there,i'd love to know if I can change my settings, so that when I set an IN and an OUT and then hit the Lift key (Z) to take out a chunk of a sequence, the cursor stays at the OUT mark where I set it (which is where I want to carry on from), instead of going immediately to the IN point.
It now goes to the IN point by default, and to continue, I have to move it to the right place by hitting the W key.
Am I making this clear, or making it confusing?
It's not a huge deal, but it would save me this extra step, countless times a day.
thanks for any advice, Malcolm
Just use a macro (quick keys ,or keyboard maestro) so your designated lift key becomes a lift and move to out mark. Perfect for those repeated actions.
wow. I will download a Trial version of one of those apps, and try it. If it works, I'll buy the app for that feature alone.
thank you Martin!
I use iKey for Mac and have many custom keyboard shortcuts involving keyboard commands and mouse clicks. It's a very helpful app for increasing speed and efficiency while editing.
