Any reason why its not been called 2019.1 ??
Are we going back to the old style version number again
Because its a bug fix version of 2018.12... not no new features.
2019.1 is coming....
Marianna

Hello!
Can someone open a bug case with the multigoup function ? when you press the multigroup it opens group clips.
.....Pace License Services, still on delayed start. It's only been a year or so.
When setting the background colour on a bin, on immediate close and re-opening, it does not save the background colour and has defaulted to normal colour. The only way to get it to remember is to select a clip, mark an in point and then save the bin manually.
Shaden....
You on Win 10?
These PCs are on Windows 7 X64. It is a bit like opening a project and then immediatley closing a project and MC does not save because it thinks nothing has been changed so nothing requires saving.
..also happens on Win 10.
Shaden.... I created a case and have support looking at this
Case # 03646149
While you are raising cases Marianna, I have had a problem with the last 5 versions of MC where if I export a non-embedded AAF with media to a network share, it will export the media but fail 99% of the time when exporting the AAF timeline composition. I then go back and export a LINK TO ONLY AAF and that exports fine. This is even with the simplest of timelines with NO AMA and doing a 25 frame handle consolidation. Error reads, Exception: unable to retrieve volume info. Happens on W7 or W10. Repeatable over many different towers and versions.
On it Shaden......
Case # 03647273
When I switched over to media composer 2018.12 I found imported PNG with alpha are now soft compared to both the same PNG without alpha and also how they use to be in previous versions.
Wondered if anyone else had experienced anything similar ?
LOL: " You might experience hangs or crashes when performing a video mixdown with a 16K project on systems with less than 64GB RAM. "
16K. With less than 64GB ? Really ?
One question: in a production environment, where we have no connection to the internet, the only way to update from avid 2018.12 to 2018.12.1 is by downloading the full installer (2018.12.1), uninstalling 2018.12 and then re-installing 2018.12.01, right? Because I cannot find something like a patch installer for the 2018.12.1.
Or can I just install the 2018.12.01 package over the already installed 2018.12?
Thank you very much,
best regards,
Felix
