Unfortunately the Command Palette in 2018.12 still does not remember Timeline View settings after relaunch/restart. This issue began with 2018.11. New User/Trashing Settings/Clean Install/etc. does not help. Can anyone confirm?
Aren´t Timeline View setting usually stored in the settings list or am I wrong?
I am using them for using separate timeline views for different workspaces. How do you want to store them in the command palette?

What is editing? It´s the process of transforming a collection of badly focussed or horribly framed shots containing reversed screen directions, flare and dirt into a smooth visual statement of the script... ... for which the director takes the credit!
Timeline View settings can be mapped to the keyboard or any button. To do so, they have to be mapped in the More section of the Command Palette. This has been a feature we extensively use when editing audio tracks. For example, a single keystroke can expand just Audio Track 1, turn on the audio waveform, shrink all the video tracks instantly. So we have keys mapped to expand each Audio Track, plus one view I call "Normal" that resets everything back to our normal video editing setup. I've been using this feature for a few years now and it just became broken with 2018.11, and now 2018.12.
Wanted to bump this because I'm also having this issue even on 18.12.1
I also found this older link which references the same issue in the release of 18.11: http://c2.avid.com/forums/p/186153/866606.aspx#866606
