Was running 2018.8, now .9 which I thought might fix the problem. Can't link or import .wav files (stock music). Avid gives me an instant 'Segmentation fault' and crashes when I try to select them in the source browser. I mean, I just move my curser in the window and bang, it crashes out. Unuseable! Any suggestions or is this a known bug?

Can you try......... Import Settings, under the Audio Tab, make sure that Autodetect BWF-Groups is turned OFF.

Also have you tried to open the files in anything else to verify there integrity?   Do you have the WaveAIFF Plug-In?
