Not a Media Composer problem per se but upgrading to Version 2018.8 is hampered because Application Manager (2018.8) does not show the Media Composer installed on the machine in its Apps tab. Nothing helps, restart, clear cache, signing out, syncing, restarting App Man Helper, turning on/off Application notification, deactivating... nada.
Any ideas?
Hi NErez,
Can you post screenshots of AppMan, if possible all tabs? Also, update your profile OS and machine specs. Thanks!
RalphC
The OS on that machine is 10.13.5 running on a Trashcan.

Just curious if you uninstalled AppMan and MC and then let the installer do both?

Do you mean as a fix to the problem or as a cause for the problem? Either way, I haven't. If as a fix, I can try. Would you like me to?
It might be worth a try, if you have the time to do it.
I am having the exact same problem, though on a PC. My various App Man screens look pretty much the same as those posted - but no apps except Application Manager showing. All my license info seems correct.
Same problem here. Any fix for that issue?
Nerez,
I created a case for you 03544716.
@Pheral and Mortilo did you uninstall and reinstall both AppMan and MC.
Thanks,
I'm mid-project, so I was hoping to avoid re-installing MC. I"ll try to re-install App Manager and see if that helps.
[Edit] This did not solve the issue.
I jumped on that granade and reinstalled appman and MC. It helped.
