Not sure what the issue was with mixed monitors in earlier versions as I had mixed an HD res 24" with a 4K LG 34" and had been able to drag the app across both monitors and then resize the composer and timeline windows in the LG to my liking. Both monitorsd at 100% scaling in Windows 10 and I can read everything fine anyway. In 8.9.4 the app fills both monitors as before, but I can't alter the size of the composer window any more. It's too small now. Anyone know a workaround?
It would be helpful if you would post your current system specifications, video card, etc. Unless you really are running on an HP 8600 with 4Gb under Vista 64.

Good point. 8600 left some time ago..
Thanks -
What driver for the quadro are you using?
Hi,
Rodpaul, I apologize but it is disrespectful, you start the post and the end.
I unfortunately have a similar problem, the NVidia K5200 (driver 385.87), the Eizo CG318 monitor and I can barely see anything. scaling in Windows does not solve anything. if it scales 149%, the fonts are too small and if 150% is Avid, it switches to 640x480. if you edit a plug in Boris BCC, fonts are 1 mm size.
Any problem with Adobe, NewBlue.
Regards
Zb.
It is a bug in 8.9.4. Roll back to 8.9.3 and wait for Avid to fix it in the next patch.
Case 149 and 150% ?
Has Avid acknowledged this as a defect? If not, it won't get fixed, right?
Steve

Yes.
I hope that my picture will be clear for everybody.
Either I'm ignorant or this is one of the main tasks for Avid Company in 2018 Year.

Happy New Year.
Disappointed to see the resizing issue not fixed in 8.10. Please Avid, fix this so the composer window works as it did in 8.3!
Thank you for your support.
I wait for Avid reaction.
I installed the new 2018 MC software hoping to find the composer window resize issue had been fixed. Unfortunately not. Avid - are you aware of this and are you going to address it? Rolling back to 8.9.3 again which works fine.
You can also try the following: Right-click on the application shortcut (or on the MC application itself) and choose Properties, Select the Compatibility tag. You will see the option to override high DPU scaling. Select that and choose Application. Then try MC. If that doesn't work, try System (enhanced). Note that you may have to log out and log back in to see any change.

You stated that Avid was aware of this earlier in this thread. if this is not the case hoprfully a mod will escalate this.
