Hi, can you use the previous A or next S buttons without it going into dual roller mode.

In a word No. Try remapping the Rewind and Fast Forward buttons (also strangely named) from the Command Palette to the A and S keys to do what you want.

doesn't seem to work, there was as douglass tutorial from yrs ago, can't get it to play though.

this works, found this tutorial, map keys, then go to Composer setting in settings. Select ignore track selectors.

Rather than use the 'Ignore Track Selectors' option in the Composer settings, You can use the ALT/option key in conjunction with the fast forward/rewind buttons to temporarily ignore the track selections. Gives you the best of both worlds without having keep going to the settings menus.
