What did Avid Announce at IBC 2017

We do not wait for trade shows to roll up features and release them.We release a new version every month and have for the last 2 years.  This enables customers to get the features we are making right away. 

We demo'd Media Composer Version 8.9 and 8.9.1 on the show floor and showed a new Title Tool as a tech preview.  We are working to finish by the end of the 2017 year.  The title tool is an update to the existing title tool but simplified with in context editing and 4K support. We have new technology that sits behind the UI. 

We also have an API so more advanced titilers can provide a similar experience to users. 

We introduced a new I/O Device called DNxIV and a new panel that provides Media Central Cloud UX to coexist inside Media Composer, this will help drive a new asset management system for post called Media Central Editorial Management that provides much more than bin locking and project sharing. 

The panel eventually allows 3rd parties to write an interface to be hosted inside Media Composer.
