As of right now, Adjust Pan/Vols is grayed out when trying to map this to my keyboard setings. I use this often when lower audio on multiple tracks. The alternative that other NLEs have would be nice as well where you can select multiple clips and change the db manually with a mappable keystroke as well.
Thanks,

OMG!!! Yes, Please!!
To bypass the frustration, I have been using macro program to make my own remapping (keyboard maestro- Mac,Autohotkey-pc) and a keyboard with lots of additional multimedia keys, and an tablet program (Keymand) to give me lots of dedicated buttons. I notice the Elgato Streamdeck programable keys are getting a lot of use in the colour grading community. https://mixinglight.com/tutorial-series/getting-started-with-stream-deck/
I’ve also just started using the avid iPad app which gives me faders and pan must and solo, and lots of programable buttons via the avid Eucon software, which gives access to a lot of controls not in the keyboard map.
Yes, I love Keyboard Maestro!!!... It's been invaluable at rounding out my Avid Shortcuts when I work at home... but as a freelancer, I work at a lot of different facilities. In some workplaces I have administrator privileges of the computer, and some I don't... and some have strict policies about things being installed on their machines. All this to say, I can't count on my Keyboard Maestro macros anywhere but in my home, so I try not to lean on it too heavily for Avid.
Yes yes yes! to both. In Premiere you can select multiple clips and change the db using a keyboard shortcut. It's such a big timesaver.
While we're at it...let's let every menu item be mapped to a shortcut. There are some you still can't which is ridiculous (this being one of the big ones I've wanted for years).
Here's a request from 2011 for the same thing, I'm sure that's not the first time it was asked for, you may be waiting some time....
Another NLE that I use can not only assign almost anything to a key including a range of speed overrides, it can be almost any combination of keys that you wish. It also has an inbuilt macro language, which means that if I have a need to routinely add four audio channels, say, I can build a macro to do that and assign it to Ctrl-Alt-U or any other combination of keys that makes some sort of sense to me. In that hypothetical case +A4 might be a better combination, although at least you could more easily get your hands around Ctrl-Alt-U!
It has been able to do that for quite a while now - pretty much as long as I can remember. Why are we still so limited in the functions that we can assign and the keys that we can assign them to in Avid?
(I do actually have some macros activated by Shift-Ctrl-Alt combinations. Those are usually for things that I need for a specific project though and don't want to accidentally activate in routine work. One example was for a project where we wanted live action to turn into animation style 4 frame steps. The macro would place a cut in the timeline, jump forward four frames, plant another cut, jump back, freeze, and jump forward ready for the next. As long as I kept my left hand on Shift-Ctrl-Alt and kept tapping F with my right I could extend the stepped action for as long as I liked.)

You tease!

As did nearly all the LEs back in the day.
Here's the 2007 (not the first) FR for that: https://groups.io/g/Avid-L2/message/35079?p=,,,20,0,0,0::Created,,FR%3A,20,1,140,48416510
