Dear Avid!
I have a trouble applying color correction.
After applying the CC and rendering the video is flashing/flickering and I dont know what to do this problem.
my specification:
HP Z420 windows 8.1 nvidia quadro k2000 (353.82)
AJA IO Express (12.5.0)
MC 8.7.2
Thank's for helping:

this is a known issue that we are working to correct. For now the workaroundis.... Go to the Render Settings dialog and choose Disable GPU effects.

Thanks Marianna the fastest support answer I ever get in Hungary!!
Hope you can fix this bug as soon as possible.
Disabling GPU effects solved this issue by the way I had to clear all renders and re-render the whole sequence.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Ha - lightning fast! The engineers are working on it as it affects many many cusotmers.
Hopefully the next release

Has this been fixed as yet ?

8.8.3 resolved this issue by correcting a multi-threading problem with submission of frames for GPU processing. The side effect of the fix results is slightly slower performance (in theory).

Hi, MariannaJust letting You know, that I had same "flicker problem" last week (Both MC v2021.12 and v2022.4). Tried different MC versions, different GPU drivers, different project settings. The result was the same. Sample below:

Finally [Settings/Render/Disable GPU effects] worked like a charm.
MC will use the GPU to render effects if it can (and you've not disabled it)
In the past Avid used to test which graphics cards and drivers worked and only those GPUs would be enabled.
But that changed a while back and now Avid allows all GPU and driver combinations to work unless its listed in the DisqualifiedGpuBoards.txt file.
So I'd suggest adding your GPU and driver to that text file.

Out of interest, you're running the RTX3080 GPU?
That's fine, but now you've lost GPU accelerated playback - your system's performance has been compromised.

You could try using older display drivers and see if you can find one that's more stable. But with the GPU disabled you are using CPU to render so that may not be that much slower. Avid isn't very reliant on the GPU.
I've used systems with mega graphics cards and ones with weak graphics card and barely noticed any difference.

This has been my experience also.

Curious if this was before the universal media engine?
On legacy versions with the AMA QuickTime based plugin, MC didn't really use the GPU very much at all, however, on newer versions with UME I have found that transcoding UME linked media, playing-back UME linked media, and encoding an export using UME do utilize the GPU quite a bit.
I've noticed 50% to 60% GPU usage when working with anything UME.
I guess not a problem here because the OP is running MC 8.7.2
