I downloaded MC8.7 trial and the installation was complete.

On the pricing page, I see $74.99/month as the cost for month-to-month, meaning you aren't buying more than a month at a time.  The lower costs are for buying 1, 2 or 3 years at once.  The average per month is lower when you agree to a longer term subscription based on what I see there.

The 3-yr agreement costs $1259.  That's equivalent to $34.97 per month but you can't just pay that once a month and get the discount.  You have to pay $1259, then you have 3 years of use.

If you chose a month to month the price is one $ but if you commit to longer term subscriotion the price decreases. The pricing starts at $39.99 when you convert an existing Media Composer license to an annual subscription (billed monthly)  Then it goes to $49.99 per month for a committed 1 year subscriptio when Paid Monthly and then $74.99 for Media Composer Monthly Subscription (Paid Month to Month) with no committment. These all come with support and upgrades for the duration of the subscrition. HTH marianna
