    DNxIO not detected

I just made a new MC install (8.5) under Windows 10. Now MC does not detect my DXxIO anymore. The Blackmagic driver (10.5.4) detects it perfectly well. The same system under Windows 7 worked well. Is there a setting I am missing?

Hello, Did you re-install the Desktop Video Driver after installing Media Composer?

That did the trick. I reinstalled the reinstall. Now it looks good. Thanks for your help.

    Re: DNxIO not detected

We have also had this problem. It was discovered that when you install Media Composer, you have to do that FIRST before you install Desktop Video or the connection to both devices is unstable. We have found that if Avid crashes hard enough, the Artist DNxIO box will not be recognized again until you uninstall and reinstall Desktop Video. I hope Avid/Blackmagic put that into future notes on the sequence of what to install.
