    Re: a problem for exporting~

With option "Keep as Legal Range" MC will export the current tineline/clip without making any modifications to the current color- and brightness values.

When selecting option "Scale from Legal to Full" MC modifies/maps color- and brightness values from digital video levels with range 16 - 235 to full range levels 0 - 255.

As MC is basically designed to stay within "legal" levels (16 - 235) according to ITU T Recommendations BT.601 and BT.709, it usually exports with no modification to the color- and brightness values. This is Standard Option.

If you want to publish your final video on Internet, you may wish to have full color- and brightness range, as otherwise your colors look "washed out". In this case you should use the second option. This option is also needed for some DVD- and BD-authoring software to get full color range and not washed out colors.

I hope this helps you for your decision.
