Hi everyone,
I assembled several sunflowers cut out in photoshop and I fly them all together overtop of the edit point of two clips. When they reach full screen I'm able to hide the edit underneath, thus making the sunflowers a cool transition effect. It's a hassle to drag and render six layers of sunflowers for each transition. I'd like to do a mixdown but that will not work as it would mix the video layers underneath the transition as well. Can I somehow make an alpha channel?
Thanks
Dave
Did you try collapsing (not mixdown) the sunflower layers into one?
WWLD?
Thanks brick, that's a good plan. I also noticed that if I hit control/alt/C and copy all the layers, it acts as if an alpha channel is underneath and i can place it over any video.
Thanks for your help.

I would use after effects to make the transition and then import it with alpha into MC.
