Can see Bins on Finder level, but not when I Open Bin

I have several projects on diferent ISIS drives.  When a story producer creates a bin in their story project on the story drive, an editor will want to later open the same bin in the editor project on the editor drive.  However when the editor does File>Open Bin, the editor can't see the bin, but when you go on the finder level the editor can see the bin.  The editor can open the been by double clicking on it, but why is it not seen in Open Bin?  So strange.  We are on Mac Avid 7.04, ISIS 4.7.3, OSX 10.9.5 on the new Mac Pros.

Do the bins in question have ".avb" extensions.  I've had similar issues when bins would come from other systems and for some reason didn't have the .avb extension.

Yes, the original project can open it.  I think this is an ISIS issue.
