    Realtime h264 Playback

Will Media Composer ever be able to play an h264 Quicktime in realtime?  It's all-I frame even.

I don't like it either, but the fact is I still get B-camera footage from clients shot on DSLRs and am getting bored wasting time and disk space transcoding.

I guess Avid is never going to address this?  They're just going to continue relying on Apple's ancient, terrible h264 decoder?

I would give my left arm for this.... well, then I couldn't edit... LOL, but seriously this is a much needed feature.  Doesn't Premier do it all flawlessly?
