No you would need to buy the $299 Support/Upgrade plan before Jan 1 2015.  Then you will get MC 8.2 or the next version coming in Q4 which is the expected 4K version.

Thanks Marianna. let me know if i get this.  I will upgrade ($299) before Jan 1st.  That upgrade will allow me to upgrade from my current version to AMC 8.2 or the next available version at the moment of the upgrade. Right?

So my next question is.... Is this upgrade valid for the entire 2015? A mean, will I be able to keep upgrading through a year period with the $299?  Then, after I upgrade to 8.2, If I dont pay the next upgrade, then I go back to 7.0.3? I'm not sure if I put that correctly.

And to SchnittKontor_HH, thanks for calling me a donkey...lol

    Yes.

    Gabriel:
Is this upgrade valid for the entire 2015?
It will remain active for 12 months after purchase. So if you purchase today (Nov 7 2014) it would run out on Nov 7 2015.

    Gabriel:
Then, after I upgrade to 8.2, If I dont pay the next upgrade, then I go back to 7.0.3?
No, you would stay on 8.2, but you would not be able to bring that license back under renewal after you let it lapse. Meaning that it will then forever let you run 8.2, but will never let you upgrade. Getting a newer version of MC after that would require either purchasing or renting a new, additional license.

No you would need to buy the $299 Support/Upgrade plan before Jan 1 2015.  Then you will get MC 8.2 or the next version coming in Q4 which is the expected 4K version.

The support/plan is valid for one year from date of purchase.  Each year is expected to be $299 for a renewal.  If you buy the support/upgrade plan for the 2015 year, you get 8.2 + the rest of the upgrades during the year.  If you decide NOT to upgrade in 2016, then the license will still work but will ony be able to be used to the highest level version  prior to expiration.

Example:  You buy today the Support/Plan for $299 for the year.  It expires 11/7/2015.  You get 8.2, the next verison in Q4 with the 4K and all the versions released up to 11/7/2015 ( say we are at v9.5 in 11/2015) .  You elect not to renew your support/upgrade plan.  You can use the MC license with any version you bought up to the expiraion so if you bought a MC 5 and then upgraded to 5.5,6,6.5,7.x, 8.x etc... you could use those versions ( of course only one at a time could be activted and use would be based on your CPU and OS  as if you have Mavericks for example, you cant use 5. 5.5 etc....

    Make sense...
