cannot sort by name ?? MC 6.5.3

The following procedure used to work before (not sure about 6.5.3 version):

clips, still pics, audio clips (wav) all have the naming convention yyyy-mm-dd_hh-mm-ss_(seq-nbr).ext

    examples:

    2012-10-07_13-15-26_00135

    2012-10-07_13-14-25__DSC0142.jpg

    2013-10-07_09-18-24_1001.WAV

I put them all in one bin and double click Name

resultis: film and jpg are put all in sequence,

but all the WAV clips are placed at the end (or beginning), not where they belong.

is there something new in 6.5.3 or have I messed up some setting

BTW, the reason I put the time and date in the name is that creation date is changed when I edit the picture ore WAV.

    thanks for any help

Click on the name column and press CTRL+E - that should re-sort by that column.

Thank you, but that doesn"t do it either.

attached screenshot shows the bin after sort. I checked the help and tried everything.

and it's not just this bin. other bins show the same problem. .WAV files are always put on the end (

or beginning), but never sorted with the other clips

Well, I finally found the error - between keyboard and chair - :

All the WAV files have got the year 2013 instead of 2012.

What can I say? am I blind or dumb or both?

I was just about to reply about the year difference, then I read your last post. We all have "DOH!" moments :)
