Job description

GenArts, the leading provider of specialized visual effects software to the media and advertising industries worldwide, is looking for an in-house artist to develop content to help new and existing customers better realize the full benefits of using Sapphire in their workflow.  Primary responsibilities of the job include:

•       Conceptualize, design and edit high quality promotional and educational content for Sapphire to be used on GenArts.com or sent directly to customers or resellers.

•       Work with sales and marketing to develop and improve existing demo reels and video education content such as tutorials and customer testimonials.

•       Demo Sapphire to new and existing customer via screen share or in person (some travel may be required) at customer locations or trade shows / events

•       Share knowledge of the industry and create content from the perspective of how an Avid or AE user would want to consume it

•       Stay current on all editing and graphic trends, productions and software 

Requirements

•       Significant experience in graphics, video editing, video production and music editing.

•       Ability to create content using Adobe Creative Suite Software, specifically After Effects or Avid Media Composer.  A working knowledge of Nuke is considered an asset but not a must-have.

•       Experience in interpreting producer ideas to create a unique project from scratch

•       Strong communication skills.

•       Ability to work well under tight deadlines both independently and with groups 

•       A team player with a professional, positive, outgoing personality who takes initiative without supervision to improve content being consumed by our customers

•       Ability to work through iterative process as we test new content

•       Contract to permanent position

•       The position is for in-house work only. This not a remote position.
