Hey everybody,
first i apologize if this topic has ever been seen, but i was not able to find any solution.
So, After quite some difficulties to activate avid, then phrasefind, the keybord language issue, my last problem is that avid doesn't see my mbox mini. That's a real problem for me, i need to put some voice over my edits. The mbox works fine in windows, it's regognized without any issue, but in avid, i only have the matrox hardware and the 1394. No mbox. I have installed the mbox mini driver 1.0.6, firmware 0.7.0
What am i missing? It would not be the first time i'm blind, but any helps will be really appreciated.
Have good day all avid users
Alexis
No solution but even Avid recognizes the mbox, you will not be able to perform a voice over. Voice overs are only working in 1394-mode with disabled mbox.
Have you installed the correct mxo-drivers for the current AVID version?
After installing the drivers you should shut down your machine and "power-off" the mbox for a few seconds.

Hello,
myu problem is not the matrox but the mbox. So i did not read all the eleven pages of problem, but not sure i'm concerned. Bad luck for me!
Thank you for the answer,
the only driver given whith the install of avid 6 are fore the mbox2, the mbox pro, the mbox 3g or the digi002 and 003, nothing for my mbox 3 mini. I have only install the driver 1.0.1 from the digidesign website. I cic not find any other driver. I bought this mbox 6 montes ago, i can't believe it cannot work with avid 6. Butt sometimes the truth is unbelievable... But I still think it should work...
Concerning the matrox mx02, if i unplug it, i still don't have the mbox in avid.

Hello
i'm a little confused, i have no problem with my matrox mini mx02, i have installed the latest driver whan i have updated avid to 6.0
The only issue i have is with the mbox mini. It works perfectly in windows, but not in avid...
sorry, i`ve misunderstood your posting :-) - the mbox only works with mxo disabled. If you disable the mxo you can see the mbox in your audio settings and you can perform a voice over
Unfortunatelly that's the point, Even if I disable the Matrox mx02, I can't see my MBOX...
And obviously, It seems that Nobody has the same issue...
Anyway, thank you
