Hi,
I have blackmagic video files, that I've already transcoded to MXFs in Resolve and I have separate audio that comes in waves.
Everything works fine with the videos, but I need to syncronize videos with audios. The thing is that audios do have timecodes, but when I try to import those audios to Avid by making MXF out of them, the window pops up where I should chose how many frames should the audio adjust to, and when I do that, all my audios start with new timecode, which starts with 01:00:00:00, meaning I cannot synchronize my clips by timecode. The only way to leave the timecodes is to link my waves, not import them, but I can't do it because I'm editing full movie. Am I doing something wrong while importing the audio?

Can you link them and then transcode them to whatever resolution you're working in?

How do I transcode them after linking?
Here's a tutorial that explains it:

I would consolidate rather than transcode (since this is already PCM audio).
At first glance I would suspect the Wave files have their TC in the iXML chunk only, and not in the BEXT chunk of the file. File->Import only reads BEXT.
