Hi
Prior to MC 2020 I would transcode / import / render and edit in DNXHD 120 - I see that the default is AVC Intra 100.
There are a lot of other options as well.
While DNXHD served me well - I havent had any issues related to AVC INtra either.
But my output formats are not rigidly defined so maybe I am not best positioned to evaluate this.
Being consistent across an entire project I imagine is preferable but is there an optimal format as well that is recommended ?
Any comments here?
I am trending towards DNXhd SQ but would be interested in other experiences
Thanks
Neil

I doubt that AVCIntra is standard. Did you create new user settings? The DNxHD family has been renamed. What was called 120 is now called SQ. I would see little reason to switch from that. AVCIntra is meant for specific (Panasonic) workflows, that use it end-to-end, AFAIK.
I'd avoid AVC Intra unless you specifically need for an end to end workflow or to deliver DPP files (as a mixdown stage to AVC Intra) its a low datarate codec relatively but processor demanding so you will see a perfomance hit.
