Hi there, I was asked to import an EDL into Avid (which was created by another Avid) in order to check an edit.
I go through the usual route of opening EDL manager and then sending the sequence to a bin in Avid MC that I've already created. The clips appear in the bin with a sequence and when I open the sequence the clips are all there and offline. When I try to relink the sequence by highlighting it, right clicking and selecting 'relink', I get an error message saying Exception: the clip is too long. What is also weird, is that in the bin the clips have a start TC of 00:00:00:00 ... but when I look in the EDL they all have correct timecodes. Can anyone help? I usually use AAF's but in this instance EDL is required...
Thanks, Michael.
