My Name is Yesenia Rosales and I am in the Editing Post-Production Industry for only a Short time. I Currently attend Video Symphony in Burbank, CA specializing in the AVID systems, of course. I Started Attending Video Symphony in 2/22/2008.

The Reason I wanted to attend Video Symphony was because the Post-Production Field was always exiting and impressive to me, no day is dull and boring in the world of an editor, no job is repetitive and routine...but creative.

Before becoming an Avid Editing Student, I was and still am while going to school working in Insurance as an Agent. Somewhat I did find similarities when it came to both fields: One, Both Industries you have to sell the client/viewer the non-solid product and show the full quality in view. Two, organization is essential. Both Industries require it, in insurance if you you lose a valid piece of information you can be held legally liable. In the Avid, you lose footage in your bins, EDLs or Sequences you're in hot water as well. But one thing Insurance lacks that made me come to the Avid world was the fact that Avid had what the Insurance Industry didn't and that was creativity.

Plus I have been Editing as a hobby for fun. Why not get paid for it.
