Hi, I have clips from the Sony XDCAM EX (.MP4 format) camera. Using the Sony Clip Browser software, I exported the clips to the Avid AAF format. I have used "link to AMA Volume" to see clips recorded on the Sony XDCam in the BPAV folders. All is well, except I have one clip that goes to black when I play it. It shows the image when paused, and it's just one clip out of hundreds that is doing this. Weird!

Aw, really sad! That makes me think of really considering our future acquisition format. But I still have to deal with some dozen HDV tapes we've shot. I'm actually looking at the NXCAM. What would you sggest as the next better-than-HDV format? Thanks!
