Copying EX1 35mb footage to XD disks

I'm trying do copy footage aquired on EX1 SxS footage at 35mbs to XD HD 23Gb disks. We have Sony's PDW-F70 decks. We want to do this for two reasons; to maintain a consistent work flow and to keep footage for archive. I used the XDCam EX Clip Browser and downloaded the Main Concept Conversion...

Hi. Does it work the same way when the disk is connected to the computer from a camera instead of a desktop player ? Thanks. Yves
