Hey everyone, I bringing my movie in for color correction but the project is too big for my colorist's system and I don't want to leave my external drive with him because it holds the whole project. Is there any way to export only the footage I want him to fix without exporting a quicktime?

Hi. I bought a new computer 3 weeks ago and was old to inves in windows xp 64 it, since the 32 bit version wouldnt take advantage of my 8 gb memory. Should I buy vista 64 bit or just downgrade to xp 32 bit? ( I couldnt find any realted topics newer than 2007,) Kim

I'd stay away from Asus motherboards for a while, they have seriously dropped their quality. Gigabyte is tops today (it has always been quite good, and Asus used to be equally good but not anymore). Get 2x24" over 2x22," there's little cost difference but great enjoyment difference...

Hi, Can anyone confirm if/that Avid Xpress Pro v5.6 will run with the graphics card nVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT ? I want to purchase a MacBook Pro (2,4Ghz / 2Gb / nVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT) to run Final Cut Pro 5 in the Mac mode, and Avid Express Pro v 5.6 in the Windows XP mode. Thanks for your help!

I am using windows 2000 professional. after installing service pack 2 the cd-rom drive disappeared. Windows is unable to detect the cd-rom drive. I remember this happened to me back in 2002 when I first upgraded to 3.0 I had to install service pack 2. The reason why I'm re-installing everything again...
