Avid Community, I'm getting some flickering black frames after I export my sequence - it's happening about every 40 frames or so. These artifacts are not present while editing: 768 x 567 SD 60i I'm also exporting as a QT, and NOT using AVID codecs? This project is time sensitive so help is...

Hello Community Gurus, I have a project that I've directed that needs to be finished but I've run accross some questions/concerns. [backstory] We shot on 16mm on the 416 and the footage looks great. I had Fototkem transfer the files to an External HD and send us everything back. At the time,...

I know that you cannot ENABLE more than 16 audio tracks in Avid but can you EXPORT (as a .wav file) more than 16 tracks? I'm worried that even though I have more than 16 tracks selected in-to-out, they aren't exporting if they aren't enabled.

Another thing I'd like to figure out is exporting faster from Avid. I have to post a lot of rough cuts on the internet, or make DVDs for transcribers, etc. These XDCAM features are unbelievable breakthroughs for importing and distributing media, but are there any similar breakthroughs for exporting...

I am a relative newcomer to Media Composer (early 2008) and as I began to feel my way around I got the idea of documenting my adventures by creating short video tutorials, Avid had already a large number of excellent, professionally produced tutorials online. I learned very much from watching them. However...

I'm trying to archive my :30 spots as full, editable sequences. But I am experiencing a number of problems trying to export my projects as AAF. The export method for both audio and video is to consolidate media with 30 frame handles, embedded into aaf. I will paste screen grabs at the end of this...
