Help with HD deck and footage

Hi, I filmed on HD and I borrowed an HD deck to capture my footage. Do I need to change any settings in Avid? If so, what, where and how? I also filmed widescreen and wanted to know if I need to specify that setting when capturing as well? Again, if so, what. where and how? Thanks for the help in advance...

23.98 HDCAM to input at 29.97 NTSC

Hi everybody, I have this 23.98 HDCAM tape I have to ingest in an NTSC project. I use a 5500 HDCAM SR deck with all the options. I can get the downconverted pulldown output but I can't control the deck while in a NTSC project 'cause the deck what to talk "23.98" I'm on an Adrenaline...
