Hi there, I'm new to the forum so please have mercy on me! I've got the following Problem: I took over a job that's been shot on Red (4K). The files were converted into QT files Apple Pro Res HQ, cause the plan was to edit it in Final Cut. The final output will be a HD clip, I'm not going...

I've been recently handed a bunch of P2 orginated files that were brought in on a mac using final cut pro. I can not get these to go into Avid as anything other than the white screen of death with Audio, nor will it play in VLC or Quicktime. So I'm trying to find some sort of Codec that is capable...

I just finished a 10 minute documentary short filmed in full res HD (sony xdcam). I got it on to a DVD in DVD codec using Douglas´s wonderful tutorials. But now I need to make a data dvd with a .mov file (so the client can later make a flash video or use it however he wants). I like the quality...

Thanks. Yes, I realized that. I just installed FCP-DH Studio in my system. I'm now exporting it using Quicktime Pro (additional codecs are now available). Final question. Is it ok to de-interlace? I noticed the distracting lines when I exported it as default.
