P2 import (clips to bin and manual)

Hey all, First things first. Running 5.8.0 on OS 10.4.10. G5 (4x 2.5GHz PPC) and 2.5 GB RAM. Quicktime is 7.2. Does that cover? Anyhow, trying to bring in some P2 footage into a project that will have both 30i and 59.94. I set up the project at 30i, hoping to go between the formats within the project...
