Best codec to compress HD (xdcam) into .mov to fit on 1 DVD?

I just finished a 10 minute documentary short filmed in full res HD (sony xdcam). I got it on to a DVD in DVD codec using Douglas´s wonderful tutorials. But now I need to make a data dvd with a .mov file (so the client can later make a flash video or use it however he wants). I like the quality...

Exporting QT from XDcam EX footage

I exported a "same as source" QT 1920x1080, after making a video mixdown of my sequence ( RT :15) compress it in Sorenson Squeeze and end up with a real good looking 425x318 4MB YouTube ready QT. Once on YouTube it looks pixilated and just overall bad. Is there a codec I need to output XDcam...
