Transferring media between projects.

I'm relatively new to Media Composer, so be gentle. A new place I'm freelancing for has two Mojo based MC systems one is 2.8 the other 3.x. The client hates the idea of batch capturing so that leaves me with long capture times. I would love to capture on one system while cutting on the other...

HDV workflow

Personally Even though im a newbie i believe that you cant get enough back up... tape i feel is a great medium as you can save versions of your project as you go this allows you to be able to start fresh from various point's along the line and try different ideas out with text visuals and cuts that...

MC direct to AvidDVD (DVDitProHD) or through a 3rd party Encoder?

There is an ongoing debate as to whether it is wiser to use a 3rd. party software to prepare files before importing them into AvidDVD (DVDitProHD) or not. I prefer the direct to AvidDVD (DVDitProHD) approach and explain why in this short presentation. Regards Douglas
